What we say: 
Teba House is extremely popular due to its prominence on the internet and the ease of booking in advance. The owners are quite savvy and have cornered the important market of people wanting to book cheap accommodation on the internet in advance. As such, if you desperately want to stay here you will also need to book in advance sight unseen. The rooms are quite basic, but very clean and have low to the ground bamboo beds with thin mattresses, hot water bathrooms and free WiFi. In fact, it's the free WiFi that's the real kicker here as everything else is on par with many other guesthouses in town. The upstairs rooms also offer air-con, but are a little overpriced.
