What we say: 
The uninspiring rooms in this family compound feature traditional carved stone facades, bamboo bed and dressing table, and are neat and tidy. The cheaper rooms are the best value, but only have cold water unlike the more expensive rooms which have hot. At this price, you wouldn't expect a whole lot, but this property has better quality in the rooms than other comparably priced places. The location is a little bit away from all the action, but attractions such as the Ubud market are still within walking distance.
