Fantastic value
What we say: 
Fantastic value. That's what it's all about in this ultra-cheapy, just across from the market and just where the bus drops you as you arrive from Semarang. Located on the downhill side of the market, Parahita is a small guesthouse with rooms that feature hot water bathrooms with squat toilet, sitting area with TV, towels and soap and decent beds. The linen is a bit scrappy as is the worn out furniture, but it's difficult to complain at these prices. The staff are a little pushy with trying to get money in advance of your stay, but a simple nanti should suffice if you've got more pressing issues to tend to such as having a shower after a sweltering bus ride into town. Finding a proper hotel with hot water anywhere in Indonesia for this price is near on impossible – this may well be the only one.
