What we say: 
Right next to Flamboyan Homestay, 100 metres to the right from the main Dieng intersection is Penginapan Lestari – another in a long line of similar-looking homestays. It's much the same as its neighbours with both shared and private hot water squat toilet bathrooms and ample bedding to cater for the cold nights. It's not a modern looking place, which is a common theme in Dieng, but there is a fantastic bargain to be had for those happy to opt for the room with the bathroom outside of the room. It's not exactly a shared bathroom as every other room has its own private bathroom, but it does require you to exit your private room to access it – no big deal if you're eager to get 50% off your room rate. Overall, this place is a reasonable choice.
