Cassadua Hotel
Dodgy location, great value

What we say:
Renovated in 2011, Cassadua is the kind of place you end up in after making a mistake with your hotel booking -- mainly because it is located in a part of town that doesn't have any redeeming qualities. On the upside, however, is that it is located very close to the drop-off/pick-up point (Bandung Trade Centre) for shuttle buses to and from Jakarta. Additionally, the location is well connected to other parts of Bandung, with frequent and very cheap angkots for 3,000 rupiah and cabs into the centre of town running about 20,000 rupiah. Location aside, it's a fantastic value for money proposition even when considering additional costs of cabs, as the rooms have air-con, hot water bathrooms, flat screen TVs with cable channels, hard springy beds with thin sheets and the kicker – in-room WiFi. If you're simply in town to see Tangkuban Parahu and Kawah Putih, the location of this hotel will be inconsequential and you will get an absolute bargain by staying here.
