Bonsai Bungalows
Good flashpacker choice

What we say:
Bonsai is owned by an Australian/Indonesian couple based in Bali and the couple have done a good job at filling a segment of accommodation that the market has otherwise overlooked. The clean rooms all have spring beds covered with pristine white sheets and the cold water bathrooms have showers and Western toilets. The more expensive rooms even come with air-con, which is a luxury in these parts. In addition to the standard rooms, a family room is available with six beds, air-con and detached bathroom. For families this might be a good idea, but those with a little extra money would be better off stumping up for three separate air-con rooms. Suitable for flashpackers, this hotel is just across the road from the beach.
