Tirtagangga Hotel is one of the few places in town trying to be a modern Western-style hotel that actually succeeds. Rooms in this large multi-storey joint have plush beds, modern spring water fed bathrooms, TVs (flatscreen in the better rooms), balconies and free WiFi. It's a pricey choice, but it's still often fully booked by the residents of Bandung and Jakarta because it represents one of the best options in town. The icing on the cake is the free daily buffet breakfast.
