Pondok Alief
Good quality rooms

What we say:
What a top find this place is. Set back about 50 metres from the ocean just off the main dirt track halfway between Ujeng Genteng and Cibuaya Beach is a thing of beauty. Opened in April 2012, Pondok Alief has a handful of basic rooms with TVs, spring mattresses on the floor and cold water bathrooms with squat toilets and buckets for washing. The fan-cooled rooms are extremely bright and clean. The communal restaurant is large and serves up basic fare so you don't go hungry as well as beer and soft drinks. The best part, however, is that the newest rooms which were nearing completion when we checked this place out feature air-con for the same price as the other rooms. We think these prices will eventually have to rise, but even for 200,000 rupiah, these air-con rooms would be a bargain.
