Basic guesthouse with charming garden and pool
What we say: 
Prambanan Guesthouse is a good option for flashpackers on the popular Jalan Prawirotaman travellers' strip, with free WiFi in common areas and slightly fancier facilities than the cheaper guesthouses up north. The guesthouse offers six air-con rooms, six fan rooms and one 'economy' room, which is smaller in size than the others and has no hot water. The rooms are basic but clean, decorated in the style of a Javanese hut, and are available with a twin or double bed arrangement. Extra beds are available on request. Bathrooms have a shower and Western-style toilets. The rooms all face a pleasant garden area with tables and chairs under pavilions and a small swimming pool. Room prices are inclusive of all taxes and service charges. The price also includes a basic breakfast, tea and coffee and an afternoon snack. The friendly staff can also arrange tours or transport to sights in the area, including the guesthouse's namesake — Prambanan temple.
