The glass-fronted Eclipse Hotel stands out from the more traditional guesthouses on Jalan Prawirotaman and inside the seamless fusion of Javanese woodwork with chic contemporary furniture really puts this hotel in a class of its own for its price bracket. The rooms are bright with big television screens. Deluxe suites also boast their own large private balconies. Splashes of bright reds and greens tastefully highlight the spacious bedrooms, dominated by large beds with crisp clean linen. Each room also has a day-lounge style sofa. The power-shower bathrooms are also very roomy and in keeping with the minimalist contemporary styling. An American-style buffet breakfast is served for guests daily overlooking the perfectly turquoise pool. Free WiFi is available in the hotel's bar and restaurant and a piano lounge area downstairs is an ideal space for relaxing, with large comfortable sofas decorated in muted shades of green and blue. Hotel staff can organise transport and tours.
