What we say:

We've a soft spot for Blue Star Bungalows even if there isn't a skerrick of shade in the place. The handful of A-frame bungalows (three facing the road and beach, the balance just out back) are clean and well maintained, though this style of room is quite small inside. The big asset here is the restaurant/bar on the beach side with salas and deckchairs all overlooking one of the better snorkelling points on Gili Trawangan. Staff are friendly, if a little slow at times.
