What we say:

Home Sweet Home is a curious place. It has a single fan-cooled Lombok-style lumbung as the centrepiece, with some fan-cooled rooms at rear. They're terribly different in style, but all go for the same price. The interior of the lumbung is very dark, with furniture consisting of an ornate bed and cabinets with mother of pearl-esque inlay — it's roomy and the bed is good. The door then leads to a second room, sort of a bathroom waiting room, though we're not sure what you'd ever be waiting for, and then the equally large bathroom further behind. It struck us as a little odd, but imagine some would love it. It's a bit of a unique property for Gili Trawangan and as such not a bad deal for the money.
