What we say:

A little way out of town in a quiet area, Saeng Deaune has two types of room. The cheaper rooms are rattan bungalow-style, quite dark with a funny smell. They are very clean, however, with a fan and mosquito net, and a small veranda. Bathrooms have a western toilet and cold shower.

The rooms in Saeng Deaune's newly-erected concrete building are brightly decorated with lots of light. Also very clean, they are fan-cooled, and bathrooms have a western toilet and hot water. Two rooms have small balconies, but all are favoured with Chinese-style decorations - garish pink bedspreads with cartoon characters, blue walls and green carpet. A definite contrast to the muted tones of the rattan rooms!
