What we say:

The rattan bungalows on offer at the back of this place are the only option for visitors these days and are not a bad choice if you want something in town with a bit of character. Each clean room comes with a large saggy bed with mosquito net, a hot water bathroom with Western toilet â€“ some without a seat â€“ and small verandah. Although the bathrooms are superficially clean, we saw unsighly inground dirt. The setting overlooking the grassed lawn is relaxing and this place is worth a look. Located just 200 metres up the road to China from the main intersection, prices are negotiable, but are too high at quoted rates. Negotiate and you may snag a bargain.
