What we say:

Almost unrecognisable as a guesthouse, Sengkhativavong is above a CD shop. The rooms are small and basic, and with no fan to cool them, quite hot. The bed has cleanish, faded sheets and a mosquito net, but no bathroom. Light switches for each room are in one huge bank outside in the corridor, which is inconvenient to say the least. The shared bathrooms have a squat toilet and hot shower, while a small terrace has no furniture and a street view. There's better around.
