Description
Onkeo doesn't get many visitors staying in its relatively clean, but not particularly nice rooms. The mosquito nets are falling down, the rooms are in disrepair and rain has flooded some rooms. Private bathrooms have a squat toilet and cold shower.

Khemkhong Guesthouse
Near the boat landing
Khemkhong Guesthouse is right near the boat landing, and a common spot for the bus to drop off passengers. It's one of the two best options for visitors, and although rooms are simple, they are clean and pleasant. Walls are made of rattan and rooms have some furniture and a mosquito net but no fan.... more

At the highest point in Xieng Kok sits the Xieng Kok Resort, with peaceful views across to Burma as well as right up the river in both directions. Saitong Guesthouse

There's no signage to indicate that Saitong is a guesthouse. In fact it's a house behind a noodle soup restaurant that has been converted to take guests. Kokbohan Guesthouse

This small guesthouse is down a steep step of dirt steps and across a small wooden bridge from the main road. A collection of shabby rattan bungalows, only some are used as guesthouse rooms.
