What we say:

A reincarnation of the Suan Keo 2, this new guesthouse is located one road back from the previous site. Emulating the heritage style, the two-storey building is done almost entirely in shiny wood inside and out. Rooms are immaculately clean and have attached bathrooms with hot water. A highlight is the second-storey lounge at the front of the building, which has a collection of reading material and cushions on the floor. Suan Keo is run by a charming old man and his daughter, both of whom speak English quite well, and you'll quickly feel welcome. No restaurant, but riverside restaurants are nearby.

very friendly staff

We stayed at the (apparently new) Suan Keo and really liked it. The rooms were ok and both room and bathroom were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Suan Keo 2 has closed since a year or so! But the owners have opened a newly build Suan Keo guesthouse (same name) just a street behind it. The new Suan Keo guesthouse is at Ban Vattat and their phone number is; (856-71) 254 740 The owners, an old man and his daughter Phone are very kind, and the guesthouse is extremely clean. For a double room with fan and private bath we payed 7$. The new Suan Keo is strongly recommended! The ratings below are for the new Suan Keo
