The cosy Pathoumphone boasts a great quiet location with lots of local activity to watch right by the Nam Khan. Solid outdoor furniture sits in a pleasant garden by the street so guests can sit and enjoy the river views. Reception offers a number of services, including booking boat and bus trips, laundry, overseas calls, breakfast, drinks as well as a few antique-y silver boxes and other items. Several styles of rooms are on offer. Two budget rooms have pride of place at the front, with a small balcony looking out to the river. They have rattan-covered walls and floors, and while basic are somewhat charming. Back doors in each room lead to a shared bathroom with hot shower and western toilet. There are also rooms with individual bathrooms that sleep up to three people, with one big and one small bed, and rooms in the old building which are simple and clean, both with and without bathrooms.
