Description
Absolutely gorgeous, the Thai-owned Chang is the kind of hotel travellers long for. Every detail seems purposefully and perfectly chosen, but in a quiet and understated way. Plush seating areas are scattered about, the most sumptuous being a balcony at the end of the second floor hallway. Comfortable rattan couches are perfect for lounging and you can choose to have the included breakfast here or downstairs in the pleasant, grassy courtyard. Lunch and dinner are also served. Cool green hallways contrast with dark doors. Warm, goldenrod rooms are off set by polished rich wood floors. For something truly spectacular, go for the larger deluxe rooms with their lovely second storey views and antique-tiled bathrooms. The absence of TVs may deter some, but reminds visitors to make the most of their stay. Internet is free for guests and of course, is set in a charming, comfy corner. Airport transfers are included and lower rates may be had online.
