The younger, hipper sister of the first Villa Sokxai, it's clear from the moment you enter the lobby that this spot has a style of its own. The spacious upstairs rooms are the stars and boast beautiful bathrooms with relaxing tubs, soft-ish beds with gauzy netting, and purposefully placed stone paths on the wooden floors. The most expensive have huge balconies to watch the busy road or morning tak bat below. Smaller downstairs rooms are similarly furnished but lack bathtubs. As Villa Sokxai 2 is opposite the city's most vibrant nightlife, look elsewhere if you'd like to sleep before 23:30.

nice place

I stayed nearly a whole week in this place. The rooms are huge and especially the wooden floors ones are great. The bathrooms are also quite big with a bad instead of a shower. The staff is friendly, they also kept my backpack for a few days while I went trekking. They clean the rooms every two days. I only payed 15USD a night. The downside is probably that it is a little out of the city center, but everything is walkable in Luang Prabang.
