A lush retreat tucked away in overgrown gardens, Satri House is perfect for those looking for a little solitude and peace. Common areas are quiet with an old-world charm that also finds its way into the cool and cavernous rooms. The richly coloured fabrics, Persian rugs, canopy beds, and high-beamed ceilings somehow evoke a mysterious Arabian Nights vibe. Bathrooms are regal with massive stone tubs for soaking. Trees shade the entire property, lending a secluded feel. The outdoor pool -- reserved for guests only -- is an enigmatic cross-shaped respite from the heat, littered with leaves. The whole thing screams of reclusive poets.
