Though it's been around a while, this remains a solid midrange choice with a dozen reliable rooms named after the animals of the Chinese zodiac. As is the trend, rooms are furnished with dark wood pieces and local textiles. All rooms have LCD TVs, mini-fridge, air-con, phones and WiFi, but there is some variation in the bathrooms. The open-concept tubs are either romantic or invasive, depending who you're sharing your room with. Thankfully, toilets are enclosed and some rooms have showers only. The central location near the night market can mean lots of street noise so ask for a room at the back.
