Based on its fortunate spot at the first guesthouse behind Joma, Phashoke could offer a lot less than they do and still be popular. Rooms are filled with furniture—wardrobe, desk, night tables, and up to three beds—and all have air-con, wall-mounted fans, TVs (some flat screen) and attached bathrooms. Thoughtful extras are included, like WiFi and a computer for guests to use, bananas and hot drinks in the morning, and hand-made signs on each door if you'd like your room made up. It's run by a friendly family and, if you spend time in the common areas, you'll get included in mealtimes.
