Kinnaly is a popular backpacker haunt and so it should be. The rooms here are immaculately clean, complete with polished wooden floors, big hard beds with clean sheets, bright bathrooms with hardly any grime and a nice table and chair set for those who like to write. This place is by no means perfect for everyone, but for those on a budget it really is a good choice. It’s located on the first road east of Phousi on the Mekong side of the peninsula.
