Conveniently located on a quiet backstreet sandwiched between the Mekong River and the main road, Nam Sok Guesthouse 3 is a budget-friendly place with free WiFi. The rooms contain springy beds, some have old satellite TVs, a couple of pieces of furniture and large hot water bathrooms with wash basins. The bathrooms are a little strange in that some rooms have the shower head positioned half over the bath and half on the floor. This quirk aside, Nam Sok 3 is one of the best budget options that also allows guests to choose air-con.
