Just down the road and around the corner from the main intersection in town is Tha Heua Me Guesthouse. This place feels similar to many guesthouses along this road in the $50 price range but Tha Heua Me is actually half that price. It’s a popular family-run guesthouse featuring wooden floors and tastefully styled rooms. Rooms are bright and airy, have air-con, beds with average linen, WiFi access and hot water bathrooms with Western toilet. It’s a polished kind of place and the free tea and coffee just adds to what is already a fabulous guesthouse at a great price. In the upper-budget to flashpacker price range, the value on offer here is difficult to beat.
