This is another great guesthouse along the Mekong with polished hardwood floors and a more upmarket feel than the budget places scattered throughout town. It’s a family-run affair with great big rooms featuring air-con, free WiFi, bar fridges, tiny tables and chairs and very respectable bathrooms. The main problem about this place as with many others is price. In the high season, some rooms go for $50 which is simply too expensive for this quality. But during the low season, a room for $30 is entirely reasonable. The owners are willing to negotiate on their advertised rates and knocking $10 off these will get you a pretty good deal. Breakfast included.
