What we say:

Khongsavath is popular presumably because it is a good balance of style and value and is perfect for flashpackers. The rooms here are tastefully decorated and the customary hard beds are covered with colourful Lao fabrics. The river view rooms are slightly more expensive than the non-river view rooms, but it is primarily due to the extra light they get rather than any decent river views. The bathrooms are clean as are the tiled floors of the rooms. We found the staff eager to help with any inquiries. Free WiFi.
