What we say:

There’s no doubt that this is a more luxurious hotel from simply looking at the price. But what is special about this place is the mixture of colonial elegance and luxury. The two don’t always go together, but at The Belle Rive they do. The old building is maintained beautifully and the rooms have been renovated to ensure guests feel like a million dollars. Interesting quirks include separate rooms for shower and toilet, which are clearly a result of the building’s colonial heritage and original design. Located right on the Mekong it’s a grand choice. We were particularly fond of the superior rooms featuring loft bedrooms and separate lounge area. Brilliant.
