Villa Somphong hits a sweet spot for those travellers happy to pay a little more for a stylish room but not willing to move into the luxury range. Located on the Nam Khan at the far end of the peninsula, Villa Somphong has small rooms with polished wooden floors, flat screen TVs, neatly painted walls, beds with good linen, tiny table and chair, air-con and extremely bright bathrooms. It's a comfortable place where you can relax in your room, watch a bit of TV and surf the free WiFi without feeling the slightest bit worried about cleanliness or noise.
