A cheap air-con guesthouse in the bar district, Vilayluk Guesthouse stands out as a place of great value. The rooms are quite plain and the blankets on the bed a bit drab, but what you do get is a clean room with air-con, hot water bathroom with Western toilet and free WiFi. The family can often be seen out the front sharing a meal and are more than happy to help guests out with any requests they have. The location next to the bars and restaurants around the back of Phousi is convenient and the night market and the centre of town is just a short walk away. A top budget option.
