What we say:

Meaning coconut garden, this spot east of the boat landing would be tricky to find if not for the hand-made signs pointing the way. Their small collection of rooms — four new wooden bungalows built in adjoining pairs — make a fine choice if you don't mind the hike to town. Bungalows are solidly built but sparsely furnished with just a double bed and mosquito netting. The porches are a more suitable place for relaxing and have wooden chairs and swinging hammocks. Each has a clean attached bathroom with Western-style toilet and cool shower. Though it is set near the Nam Ou, the fronds from the namesake trees obscure the river views.
