Nicksa's Place
A new and friendly spot

What we say:
Another new addition to the Muang Ngoi bungalow scene, Nicksa's stands out for its welcoming atmosphere. There are only five bungalows here and guests have a tendency to linger at this laid-back riverside spot, so consider yourself lucky to secure one in the high season. There are four newer bungalows with attached Western-style bathrooms and one that uses basic but well-kept facilities. Otherwise, bungalows have a similar lay-out with one big bed, mosquito netting, and individual balconies with — you guessed it — hammocks. The open-air restaurant serves well-iced drinks and tasty food on top of having a great view, and is deservingly popular.

good value
clean rooms, good view, friendly staff, and most important, good blankets for the cold nights. Restaurant on site but I didn't eat there. Great place to lay in a hammock for few days.
