Chaleunsouk Guesthouse

A top option

What we say: 4.5 stars

On your right hand side as you walk up from the boat dock, Chaleunsouk is a newer guesthouse with a cluster of rooms above the family shop which sells handicrafts among other things. The rooms are clean and contain a wardrobe, table and chair and big double bed. The bathrooms are modern for this part of Laos and have hot water showers and Western toilets. The communal area on the balcony is a great place to socialise with other travellers if you happen to be in town at the same time as other travellers. Otherwise, it's simply a great place to read a book and have a free cup of tea. All in all, a great value place.
