What we say:

Up the main road on the right about 300 metres from the dock, Vatsana Guesthouse has an old building with a more recent addition attached. The old building houses depressing rooms with shared bathrooms while the new building sports rooms with private bathrooms, TVs and air-con. WiFi is available throughout the guesthouse and the owners are really friendly. The only complaint is the noisy restaurant across the road which is a favourite for travellers passing through town in the high season and which will keep you awake until closing time – about 23:00.
