Located in the middle of Udomxai, Litthavixay is a large guesthouse offering great quality budget rooms with and without air-con. The rooms come with private hot water bathrooms and Western toilets, TVs with cable channels, a desk and a chair, beds that are above average for this price range and free WiFi. They are also a Lao Airlines ticketing agent and can also hook you up with rentals, tours and tuk tuks. The owners' English is not so crash hot, but they know enough to communicate the basics. This is a great choice for those on a budget.

a safe choice
I stayed here for my only night in Udomxai and would happily go back. We payed 60 000 kip for a twin room with ensuite and tv. It was clean, and comfortable, the mattress was softer than most I have had in Laos. A good choice
