Description
At the base of the hill holding Wat Phou That, Vongprachit is a good, clean guesthouse with generous sized rooms, which are nice although plainly decorated. Both fan and aircon rooms are on offer, all have private bathrooms with western toilet and hot shower. A long balcony on the upper floor has a lovely view of semi-distant mountains, but to see them you have to look past the ugly buildings on the main street. The restaurant on the ground floor is generally closed due to lack of customers.

The entranceway is dark and bare, and you'll feel like you're intruding on the staff watching TV when you arrive. But the staff warm up eventually, and the rooms are decent - quite clean with a fan, large bed and other furniture. Private bathrooms are large and have a hot shower and western toilet.... more
