What we say: 
In the western part of the town, close to the market, the run down Hay Hin has been established in Phonsavan for years as a cheap and basic place to stayand is definitely a place to stay on a budget.. Nothing has been done in all these years to improve either the condition or the facilities. Rooms are quite clean with clean sheets but no quilt cover. Rooms come with mosquito net but no fan, and largish private bathrooms with squat toilet and cold shower.
