Paksan Hotel
Best rooms in town

What we say:
Just east of the bridge on the main road, the Paksan Hotel rears up out of the grass-filled carpark like a presidential palace wannabe. It's an ugly building with a bunch of old rooms and some newer looking ones – all very clean and all lacking soul. The older rooms are small, tiled things with hot water bathrooms, firm beds and little else. The newer looking rooms come with air-con, TV, fridge and full-length windows which let in huge amounts of light when the curtains are pulled back. These are clearly the best rooms in town, but they're still not luxurious by any means. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
