The talented Mama runs this great little hideaway (previously known as Rasta Cafe) and although the huts are pretty basic thatch affairs, Mama really works her territory -- hectoring passing farangs with calls of, Hey you! BeerLao? snaring more customers than you'd expect -- perhaps something to do with her crocodile smile. The food is fine.

By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms.
