One place down from Mr. Tho's, this is a friendly spot that was packed on our visit -- the owner here speaks English well and really aims to please. There's a restaurant on site and rooms with private bath at a good price.

Best place on sunrise side

We stayed 5 days at Phao`s and is very high to recommand. Easy to walk by and very nice and clean bungalows for 1.5$ per day. Phao can organise all the tours, if you want. But another great option is just to stay in your hammock and watch the Mekong flow by. Also great food and good music. If you go for sunsets, ask him about his sunset boattrip across the islands to a very special place - a sandy beach at the Lao - Cambodian border with a real relaxed customs ''office''. IMHO best place and ideal located bungalows to explore Don Dhet and Don Khon.
