Along the river
On the Phou Ngeng River
Khammuan Province

Description
This little place is actually on a prettier stretch of the Phou Ngeng river than the more upscale Auberge Sala Bin Boun up the road. On offer are four rooms with private, cold-water bathrooms in a small wooden building. The staff here are friendly as all get out and don't speak a word of English. If you're doing an overnight in connection with a tour of Konglor Cave, and you don't want to do a homestay or pay for a room at the Auberge, this is your only option, and thankfully its quite a good one. Restaurants are scarce around here, but you can take your meals at the French restaurant at the Auberge. If you're in Na Hin and you want to check to make sure there's a room available here, there's no phone number, but the owner told us people could enquire at the Seng Chan and they might be able to sort it out.

Total rooms: 4

Auberge Sala Hin Boun
Along the river, Ban Phou Ngeng
The rooms here are a bit overpriced for what you get, but it's aiming to be the classy place to stay when visiting Konglor Cave. We actually found the river views more attractive at the Saynamyang Guesthouse just down the road, but the river here is pretty too. Under the same ownership as the Seng... more
