Xokxai Guest House

Has a nice vibe

This place, 400m east of Na Hin proper along the main road, has nicely done-up rooms in a rustic wooden building. We got a nice vibe from the place, and the staff seemed really accommodating, though little English was spoken. It's certainly not as nice as the Seng Chan, but you can get cheaper rooms here and you won't be woken up by the public address speakers. They have one motorbike that they rent for US$10 a day. There is also a restaurant on premises.

By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure.
