Saise Guesthouse and Hotel
Clean and spacious, but a little out of the way

What we say:
The Saise Guesthouse and Hotel are in separate buildings within the same enclosure at the north-eastern end of Salavan where the river loops around. The guesthouse rooms are basic and a bit grimy, but the price is fair. The hotel has air-con rooms with hot water bathrooms representing quite good value, as they are spotlessly clean and spacious. It also boasts a large garden with tumbling bougainvilleas and space to relax. The only disadvantage is that you're a 10-minute walk from the centre of town. Overall it's the best around, though no English is spoken.
