What we say: 2.5 stars

Tim's over the years has gained a good reputation, but we have been consistently underwhelmed. We've checked out a number of different rooms over the years and things just don't get any better. The rooms are tiny rattan things and come with shared bathrooms. In itself, that's not a bad thing, but the price they charge is unacceptable considering the competition. The attached restaurant serves some decent food, but like the accommodation, the food is overpriced. Once the pick of the bunch, Tim's is now low on the list of our suggested places to stay.
