Hoong Thip Hotel
All the creature comforts

What we say:
If you need creature comforts in the centre of Savannakhet, then this is your only choice. The Hoong Thip has an old and new wing. While the former is of dubious value, the latter boasts spotless rooms, all with air-con, hot water, bathtubs, good cable TV and fridges. They represent quite good mid-range value, albeit in slightly questionable taste. All rooms include breakfast and your needs will be tended to by a polite, English-speaking staff. Looks as if it would be popular with the increasing numbers of Vietnamese and Chinese businesspeople flocking into town.

Flight after 1 night!
It wasn´t possible to sleep just one minute, because of the Hotel-Bar downstairs and an open-air-restaurant just beneath our room on the backside. Disco-music all night long! Worst breakfast I ever got all over southeastasia!!! Nevertheless, clean and very big rooms with AC,fridge and TV, but at least 10$ too much for what you get. Beware of their restaurant and the fried eggs!!!
