Description
The rooms here are startlingly nice considering the price and the utter lack of visitors staying overnight in town. Though all the rooms are fan only, the cheapest rooms have tile floors and private baths with hot showers. For a pittance more you get a bathtub and cable TV (though none of the 200 channels are in English). The 'priciest' rooms are huge, and have large living rooms en suite -- great for business meetings. We have no idea who would need to set up a business meeting in a place like Tha Teng, but if you do, head straight here.

On the upside, the rooms here are in a beautiful and unique location, between a rushing river and a small duck pond, and price-wise, they can't be beat. But there's a downside. The bathrooms are a long walk away over a footbridge, the beds are just mattresses on the floor, and the fact of the... more
