What we say:

In a quiet area north of the TV bars and happy pizza joints, Kianethong is a big pink-painted guesthouse with three levels of rooms. Rooms are nearly identical to each other and the cookie-cutter atmosphere is less than inspiring, but they're clean and you'll get a good night's sleep. Inside is basic, with one or two beds, table, chair and optional TV. All rooms have attached bathrooms and air-con or fan. Shared balconies have no seating, but there are some outdoor tables and chairs on the ground floor. The guesthouse has spacious grounds that seem to function more as a parking lot than a garden or restaurant, and they sometimes cater to large groups.
