Description
Newly opened in 2007, Mountain Riverview has had no trouble filling its eight rooms since. Mountain Riverview is located toward the north of town, overlooking the Riverside Bungalows. It's the only riverside establishment in town from which the view can be appreciated from every room, each of which has a balcony. It is another example of the unbridled development of land with riverside views. Clumsily decorated with cartoon puppy bedspread and tasselly curtains contrasting with dark stained hardwood floors, the Mountain Riverview nonetheless has some of the most reasonably priced rooms to be found in Vang Vieng. They accept telephone reservations, but get there before 4pm or they'll assume a no-show and the room will be let out.

Paid USD12 for non air-con. Need to walk about 5 minutes to town, but no problem. Does not serve food but can find food within 15m from this place easy enough.
