In terms of facilities, Vansana can tick more boxes on the checklist than any other hotel in Vang Vieng. The centre-piece is the swimming pool. In a shady, airy spot adjacent to the pool is a gym with all the requisite machines. Add to this the Conference Room and Business Centre in the main building, and one wonders why the Vansana came about. Clearly, the Vansana Hotel Group are gambling on some kind of a Government and NGO convention scene developing in Vang Vieng. Arranged around the pool are the three-storeys superior rooms and a restaurant with grand hardwood furnishings, again more typical of have been pimped out with creme coloured corner sofas. Staff are sometimes hard to locate, ad once found can be less than attentive. The Hotel was opened in 2006 and is kept spotless, The Vansana Hotel Group have similar hotels in Vientiane, Phonsavan and at the Nam Ngum Reservoir.
