What we say:

The Chantha has just nine clean, pleasant rooms with fan or air-con, and a Full sign is a common sight on their door. Rooms feature the standard guesthouse furnishings of beds with firm mattresses, a fan, and little else. Most rooms share clean bathrooms with a hot shower, but some of the ones with attached facilities even have a bathtub. Some rooms have individual balconies though there's a communal one on the second floor perfect for people watching on the bustling street below. The on-site restaurant didn't look very active and the central location means that there are plenty of better eating options nearby.

No window, dirty bathroom, and bed bugs...

So I'm not one to complain, knowing that things aren't going to be like rooms back at home. I can handle a dark room, a stiff mattress, and a dirty bathroom but I most definitely can't handle BED BUGS. I saw at least half a dozen and am glad I only paid for tonight because I will definitely be switching rooms tomorrow. For 120,000 LAK, I was hoping for a bit better. I will say that the restaurant downstairs is delicious though.
